The Bruton Castle reflects the diversity and energy of the town of Bruton, Somerset. From the traditional front bar with leather seats and log burning stove, to the “red rooms” night club atmosphere complete with pool and football tables, high street facing garden and quite room area.

Situated in the middle of town The Bruton Castle is a welcoming easy place to relax with a book, make new friends or catch up with old ones.

Exceptional music from around the corner and around the world from blue grass to break beats. With film, comedy and even puppet nights we reflect the eclectic make up of Bruton.

One of the best pubs I've ever been to. Super sound and friendly staff, warm and welcoming vibe, cool music, this place has it all. The open mic night, usually on the first Wednesday of each month is a must. Other cool bands play there too, check what's on and soak up the intimate atmosphere. The food is fantastic and if you want a cherry on top there's an open fire. After writing this I think I'll pay a visit tonight :
Amazing local, always a very warm welcome, nice wood burner to warm your cockles on colder days. Lots of great entertainment of the musical variety. Food is awesome too. Jim really has created the perfect laid back atmosphere, very happy it's our local!!
Cozy and modern pub with a welcoming athmosphere, a nice selection of beer, very friendly staff and a great menu! Not only the best burger in town, but also one of the best I ever had! The specials are delicious too. You will not leave hungry and definitely not unsatisfied. In comparison to the other premises in town, I would choose "The Bruton Castle" everyday! If I ever come back to Bruton, "The Bruton Castle" is without a doubt one of my stops, if not the first!
The landlord had only just opened up when we arrived asking for hot chocolate on a cold, wet day. Not his typical customers i think! He lit the fire for us and made us our hot drinks. Super welcoming pub and lovely landlord :-
I love The Castle in Bruton. The music they play is always funky and cool, the atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, lots of places to sit inside plus a smoking area. There is a pool table and a ping pong table. They serve really nice pub food at a very reasonable price, and the staff are lovely. The Castle often has events on such as open mic nights and gigs which gives it a distinction from the other pubs/resteraunts in Bruton. The Castle is my pub of choice.
Lovely food with very pleasant staff, the ambience of the place is nice, with an owner who cares to listen to the requests and advice given by customers mayonnaise. We will definitely visit again as the home made hummus is great!
Small pub seems to welcome family groups as lots of children eating with parents in bar. Excellent Sunday roast and service. Will probably use again when in the area
Really nice atmosphere, good service, food smelled great but we'd just missed it. And no big signs for sky sports outside so a win before we got in!
Wow wow wow .. what a hidden gem of a place!!! Cant rave about this pub enough, food AMAZING, service outstanding... ITs more than just a pub! Highly recommend!!
