We arrived just as they opened so we were the only ones there, but that didn't make a difference. Food was what you expect in a British pub, honest, fairly priced and well portioned. Parking outside was also easy but can't imagine that's the same when it's busy.
Really nice place to eat and drink. Been there three times in the last month, Sunday lunchtime is great. Roast potatoes could be slightly more crispy. But otherwise fab. Good value as well. Tips are not included, to which you have the option to give at the end.
Just had lunch here with my boyfriend and we could not recommend it enough, a great little find! Service was outstanding thank you to Kevin- he was very friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed speaking to him! Food was brilliant, best pub food I’ve had. Definitely recommend the burger and beer battered cod. We will definitely be back.
Wow, I never knew this little gem existed - many years ago I had visited and it was closed, so naturally thought it was gone for good like so many other, however it is very much open.nnOnly popped in for a beer and it was excellently kept.nnTidy and cosy, will be going back for food as soon as possible.
Excellent meal with the family at very short notice good value for money..my steak was excellent.
