Beautiful gardens, lovely staff, excellent cake, what more do you want. Tea-room perfection
What a charming and beautiful setting! I was here for lunch with 2 other people. We all enjoyed our lunches. We found there to be enough for vegetarians to choose from. The service was fine. There were lots of freshly baked cakes and home made soups. We would definitely return and recommend this place. It's a million miles from a town style cafe. Take a walk around the garden, it's lovely.
Such a delightful tea room in a quiet setting off the beaten track. Excellent light meals with big range of superb cakes. The blue cheese and walnut quiche was excellent, the best I had ever had. Extensive well maintained grounds but not suitable for children or dogs as there is a lot of water on the site. Highly recommended.
Absolutely stunning setting with lovely gardens. The cakes were delicious and in perfect surroundings. Would be 5 stars but one quibble - when we arrived, sat outside and moved to a table in the sun. When our drinks were bought out, they were left on the previous table, which we couldn't see nor were we there - After a while of wondering where the drinks were, I went up and saw them there. This did mean that the coffee I had had turned lukewarm, so wasn't as good as could have been.
Beautiful setting, enjoyable cream tea. Would have scored 5 stars if they had adhered to their menu stating serving light lunches until 3.30pm, we wanted to place an order for sandwiches at 3.10pm.but were told "sorry we have stopped serving lunches".
In a delightful situation sits Cole Manor Tea Rooms. Lovely gardens are scattered with tables and chairs to enable you to enjoy the views. Inside seating for when it's wet. Good choice of meals and delicious cakes. Highly recommend.
Abs gorgeous setting. Perfect for a sunny afternoon out, with extensive grounds and gardens. Cream tea available all day but note that light lunches on offer only from approx midday to mid afternoon so check times. Def worth a second visit.
Not overly impressed. Tea was nothing like the strength requested and seems to mainly cater for the out of town and weekend home type of visitor. As a local of 20 years plus I prefer the more authentic places. Seems to have a fair following though which unfortunately won't be stopping the forthcoming closure.
Such an amazing little hide away. With beautiful gardens to sit and enjoy a cuppa, cream tea or a roast lunch. Would recommend the place. Love it
A lovely place to walk to that never feels too busy. Beautiful gardens to sit in and nothing is too much trouble. Even visiting dogs get a treat.
