This historic manner house restored to its old glory is a nice visit to anyone who fancies museums, English history, and architecture. The long hall with its accompanying music is a must experience. Got a small outdoor garden as well. There is a gift shop and toilet facilities as well.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Beautiful Jacobean house full of historical detail. The part played in the civil war by the hall is fascinating. The damage to the stair bannister caused by a cannonball can still be seen. The long gallery was very atmospheric. It is easy to understand why some folk believe this to be the most haunted Hall in the UK. The gardens were small but interesting. The cafe had a limited supply of food no sandwiches just chocolate bars so eat elsewhere before or after your visit.
We spent a couple of hours here on a Wednesday morning. It was supposed to be open at 11 but didn't open until 12noon. Its £10/adult entry to house and you can gift aid. A volunteer was there to introduce the first arrivals to the house which took about 10mins and was very interesting. You then take a guided tour up the beautiful oak stairs and there are info boards in each room and QR codes. The boudoir referred to black slavery and had an interesting poem with audio. We had a drink in the stable yard cafe see pic which is just to the side of the house. Nice coffee, cold drinks, sandwiches and cakes on offer, seating inside and outside, clean and tidy. We then visited the garden which was reasonably well maintained. A nice couple of hours here and worth a visit.
A most unexpected visit. Considering it's age and especially location, they've done extremely well to retain and maintain the building being council owned. A lack of furniture is a shame but it heightens your experience of the architecture. Beautiful workmanship inside and out. At least I now know why the football ground's home end is called the Holte End.
So much beauty is collected here! Amazing gardens which you can enjoy for free but if you are curious for more history then you need to enter the house! It is very well kept and you can explore all the rooms. Nice coffee with nice food in the house.
Beautiful mansion, with selection of historic interiors from different periods XVII-XIX centuries, including kitchen and servants' areas. Characteristic smell - aged wood and museum dust, some may love it, some may hate it but definitely worth visiting.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

Visited this amazing hall on a Saturday mid January. Aston Hall is a beautiful Jacobean house set in its own grounds. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. If you’re in the area and you’re into architecture and family history then I would highly recommend a visit, you won’t be disappointed.
Old beautiful classic English castle with interesting rooms and spaces. I recommend finding out when it is open and visiting it. It is good fun for a few hours or so. The park is also beautiful and there is parking on-site, next to the castle. It will cost you £10 per adult person, depending on when you visit it. The best time to visit is speing time or summer.
Historic and an amazing place to visit and rose house at will. Worth the visit.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
