We called in for a quiet dinner to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary, and we're having a renewal of vows service here next year! and every course of our dinner was absolutely delicious. The staff here are polite and friendly, and the service is superb. A real asset to the hotel. We can't wait to have our celebration here next year!
Booked in for my nans 90th party they double booked a 50th party ruining the atmosphere for the event. They also blared music so loud I couldn't hear the TV in my room. It's currently midnight and it's just stopped, haven't been able to sleep at all kept the kids up etc.nnI'm all for a party but the DJ may as well have been in my room the volume they played it at.nnBesides the noise my auntie had to repeatedly get water etc for the table no one came and asked if we needed anything the only the thing staff did was clear plates. All around bad experience would not recommend to anyone
Absolutely Amazing from start of getting there for our sons wedding, This Was Just Plain Amazing the rooms were clean, large and well maintained. The staff felt part of your family. The staff had young and old generations yet all there manners were impeccable.nFood Was So Nice and Warm I Can't acknowledge enough The staff feeling they were like family unfortunately I don't know all The Names of staff members but the bartenders Pete & Wendy were First Class and nothing was to much trouble.nBed was so comfy and breakfast was buffet but was all pipping hot and great selection.nAgain i can't praise this hotel enough if Your in doubt give it a try You won't be disappointednThankyou So Much To All The Staff Of ASTLEY BANK HOTEL
We recently married at Astley Bank and my word what a place! The staff are amazing! They made me and my husband feel so special. They pulled out all the stops and nothing was too much trouble. The service was sensational, well timed and professional. All our guests complimented the food and how tasty the canapés and wedding breakfast was! Shoutout to Veronika for being the best wedding coordinator and having so much fun with us. 100% would recommend as a wedding venue. The grounds are beautiful . A few of my wedding guests stayed the night before and all the staff were so accommodating I cannot praise Astley Bank enough. Thank you for making our day so special
Attended a wedding. Great location. The venue is lovely, but the rooms - not so much. Adequate for nights stay. Breakfast products ran out, and replacing them was slow and, in some cases, didn't get some of the produce. A bit poor for breakfast time. Lovely area for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. It didn't spoil anything at all.
