My wife and I stayed at at Ashdown Park Hotel recently and were very impressed. We stayed in the Oak sweet which we enjoyed, although we did agree that we would have preferred some more modern decor. We used the spa facilities and had treatments on our first day which helped make our stay a relaxing one. The food both at dinner and breakfast was outstanding. However the one thing that stood out for us was the staff, they were all so helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Top notch, old fashioned quality. The service was impeccable, polite, professional but friendly. Our room was very comfortable and the building itself is fascinating. The food was very good especially the breakfast. Went in January so the spa/pool/gym were a treat and the team there were supurb as well. Couldn't use the golf course but looks interesting so another good reason to return

I enjoyed my stay at the Ashdown. Staff were friendly and courteous, the grounds were exceptional and the room was very comfortable. I particularly liked having a Nespresso machine in our room. I feel the buffet breakfast could have been improved upon-real scrambled eggs instead of powdered. The range for the continental breakfast was lovely including lots of fruit.

Absolutely beautiful place! Stunning building on lovely grounds, the staff are exceptionally accommodating, dinner was amazing, room was perfect. Absolutely loved my stay at the hotel. Only thing I didn't like was it was booked as a spa night away with my GF and we booked massages together but had to be in separate rooms, I think as a couples retreat it would have been nice to have a couples massage.

Second time at the hotel - absolutely love going there and staying for the night. Staff incredibly attentive to our needs (my wife is pregnant). Room very clean and staff very friendly. Would recommend the onsite restaurant if you have the opportunity to dine there as well!
