When you move to a new area it expands your horizons and gives you the bug to go out exploring and as I'm so close to Greenwich now it would be rude not to scope out some backstreet boozers. The @ashburnham_arms is 5 minute stroll from the hustle and bustle of the market step back on a quiet road which adds to the charm of the pub and gives it a relaxing atmosphere. If you’re after a spot that is a away from the usually weekend madness of Greenwich, keep the Ashburnham Arms in your back pocket as a little treat. PS The Sunday roast is YUMMY!
Such an amazing hidden gem in Deptford Bridge. The indoors seating decoration is fab and there is a front and back garden; both lovely. In this pub my partner has found his favourite non alcoholic on tap beer quite difficult to find 0 alcohol beer on tap even these days I dare say.
A most pleasant hostelry, hidden away in the depths of Greenwich In reality, only a couple of minutes from the train and for station on High rd. Absolutely wonderful staff with excellent service. There is a simple but fine looking menu in case you are feeling hungry. Great beer on offer. Well worth a visit, only the garden and front patio for now, still lovely as long as the weather holds!
Best place for fish and chips! Great home made tartar sauce! Lovely staff and very kind owner
Sunday roast is fabulous and worth a trip to the Ashburnham Arms. Especially enjoyable in the beer garden. Staff super friendly and helpful.
The wings are phenomenal! The vibes are great. Nice family hang space as well. We will definitely be back
A great local pub with a front and back garden. Friendly and chill. Serves Sunday roast.
What a find, proper English pub nestled a quiet back street not far from tourist high Street. Good food and drinks, the staff are excellent and great fun. Spent sometime chatting to the owners son who was very knowledgeable and interesting. Well worth taking the family for a quiet pint and a meal
Nice pub, a couple of cask ales on and good selection of snacks/ food on offer. Was quite quiet on a Thursday evening, so had a nice evening talking to friends
Really nice quiet pub, landlady is lovely as is the dog
