It's one thing to be eccentric, but Asda Witham Highfields takes it one step too far. Upon arrival I was treated to a truly stunning display in the modestly proportioned car park by a group of local pensioners (ably abetted by two young disabled girls) performing a daredevil acrobatic interpretation of Leda & the Swan on mobility scooters. Naturally, I doffed my cap and tipped them generously. I shopped at my leisure, pausing to admire the artful displays (particularly the surprising automotive section). It was a couple of hours before I left the main retail space, in which time the thoughtful display outside had descended into utter anarchy. Rogue bands of pensioners raced tearaways and ruffians around the car park, wailing and "pulling doughnuts". The young disabled girls had abandoned all decorum and appeared to have imbibed one too many fruit-flavoured perrys (I had spotted the promotion inside). All in all a disgraceful end to an otherwise tasteful experience. The management of Asda Witham Highfields really need to up their game to regain standing in this community. Very disappointing!

Very handy place but could do with more variety in terms of products. Pricing is fine, and staff are a pleasure, parking and location are spot on
