Helpful with an appointment but why are they closing the branch? If they stayed open I would have transferred my Barclays account to them. I want a proper, old fashioned bank!
Thanks Lloyd's you've now made it impossible for me to be able to do any face to face banking whatsoever. I work 7:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday so with a closing time of 15:00 everyday that you can be bothered to open, the only day that would have been achievable was a Saturday but now your not even open then! I'm sorry but I refuse to go to Chelmsford the nearest branch which is 30 mins travel away fight & pay for a parking space then have to walk for a further 10-15 mins just to pay in cash or just speak to a person face to face. By doing thus your forcing the public into a cashless society when most of us are either not ready or don't want this transition.
10/8/2018 took ages to park and then found bank shut with note on door directing us to go to the Chelmsford branch. Can see a ladder inside so hopefully only a refurb but would have been nice to have some advance notice
Use to love using this bank compared to Chelmsford branch, now it's barely open I don't understand how they can choose to have so many days off. How does that work in the real world especially for older people
24th December tried to come in to pay some money into my account, google said 2pm close, got to branch the time is 12:40pm and its closed even in the window next to the door it stated on paper for a 2pm close time, I've had to work today until closing time how about the bank does the same would have made my day a bit easier today, i guess I'll come back another day but I'll have to guess when they will be open as I can't trust there times open that are stated good luck anyone else
Lovely friendly staff, always quick to help and very apologetic if you have to wait. Tend to use the self serve machine nowadays as nobody else ever seems to use them.
OK but long waiting times and there is one cashier who is really miserable ! She's an older lady who's been there for years makes you feel like she's doing you a favour for serving you bloody freak grrrrr
