Very convenient for most household items.nI've noticed a disturbing trend in Asda.nPrices marked on the shelves are not always what's charged at checkout. They claim that someone's put the wrong item or the displayed price is actually for another make etc etc. I suspect it's a policy of deception to lure customers into buying the expensive items unwittingly. It's happened too many times to be a mistake or coincidence. Shoppers beware!
Bought £120 of gift cards non work trued to sort it out with asda they claim there's nothing they can do. Beware never buy gift cards from asda. Shocking customer service
Awful supermarket with awful staff.nExpect to see several barren shelves, with many items frequently out of stock. The Scan & Go crashes regularly. My biggest bugbear is that some staff are extremely rude to customers, especially the Scan & Go staff. After over 7 years of coming here I've now seen the light; I now take my custom to Tesco just down the road.
Very popular supermarket...nYou can find more or less anything you need all under one roof...nThey sell cloths, shoes, school uniform, bedding, electrical items, fresh meat/salad/fruit/bread and many more...nThey sell halal meat...nBasically the best place for home groceries and everything else you may need...nThey have self service check outs also...nThey also have a kiosk
Lots of choice, okay prices, terrible checkout experience. So much self service, 1 or 2 assistant lanes only. There's just not enough staff. Whatever staff there are they're on self service, why? Because self service doesn't work unless all you have a pint of milk and that's it. Car park is subject to remote ticketing. 2hrs free. BUT if it's a bank holiday or less staff you're up against the clock. I certainly can't shop and op to the cafe for a drink. No time. Checkout queuing is shocking.
