The store looks much better after the refurbishment, and I was impressed with its appearance. When I visited today to return a parcel, the lady who assisted me was very polite, patient, and helpful.nnHowever, she encountered an issue with one of the parcels and called a person who appeared to be the store manager or supervisor. Unfortunately, his attitude was very rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I felt that the way he spoke to me was disrespectful and came across as discriminatory. His manner made it seem as though he believed he was above everyone else, which was very upsetting.nnRegardless of the situation, customer service should always be delivered with respect and professionalism. I believe he would benefit from additional training on how to communicate appropriately with customers.nnOverall, I was very disappointed with the service I received today. While the store itself looks great and the first staff member was excellent, my experience with the supervisor left me feeling dissatisfied
Positive experience: massive Asda parking free 2 hours leads to the river view
After the refit, the children's things are upstairs, really unhelpful if you've got a buggy as you have to use the lift and hope it works. Ridiculous lack of thought.nnAlso, it's almost all self-checkout now which means relying on customers to know which items are security tagged in order to deactivate them. This of course doesn't always happen leading to the alarms going off a LOT. Hardly a nice shopping environment.
Good for kids clothing, lots of bundle packs of T-shirts and shorts, dresses, blouses.nGood for school polo T-shirts girls and boys.nCoffee shop good only one in that area as the range cafe has gone.
My husband & myself were the very 1st customers in the cafe, we ordered the crumpets & the pancake. I couldn't even cut into the pancakes as they were hard the crumpets were burnt.nEvery knives & fork we picked up were dirty. The hygiene, food & staff who were not at all bothered needs to be looked at
