Done a food delivery and they sent me meat that was short date, alongside missing and damaged items, This is the second order now with short dated meat and fruit. My refund request was rejected which is absolutely pathetic! They need better pickers nnNot only that the delivery crates are absolutely filthy, won’t be ordering again, going back to Tesco, fresher products, clean crates, never any missing or damaged items and always delivered with care. Asda you should be ashamed of themselves.
Why am I queuing to pay for shopping when there are only two till staff? Why? It's the Christmas season, and not all paying customers want to cash their own shopping at the self-service 22+ stations available! Please remember that some customers have disabilities, are elderly, or don't want to work to pay for shopping. How about a 5% discount for customers who use self-service?
Opticians: a really good experience here. Very relaxed, clean environment with good range and excellent pricing. Used to go to Specsavers but I always found them too busy and their range of glasses quite clunky. Discovered this place as I started grocery shopping here more regularly and I highly recommend it.
I am a delivery driver, and I had a disappointing experience at this ASDA store. I was required to wait for a very long time for my order without any clear communication. After the extended delay, I was informed that I would need to wait even longer for a second driver to arrive because my order was large and they had decided to add another driver.nnThis information should have been communicated much earlier, as the long waiting time caused unnecessary delays to my schedule. Better organisation and clearer communication with delivery drivers would greatly improve the experience and efficiency for everyone involved.
I have been using this store for over 20 years and since the ownership of ASDA changed hands, it has deteriorated.nMy husband and I remember when all the tills were manned with cashiers. Today there was only 1 till with cashier in operation. Everything is self service which is OK, I guess but more often than not the machines malfunction and you have to wait for the ASDA employee to rectify the machine . My husband was speaking to the employee today when the machine malfunctioned ,the employee ignored him and walked off before my husband had finished speaking. This is outrageous and disrespectful especially as we are paying customers . This never happened under the previous ownership employees were friendly sociable and helpful.nI always have to check the dates on the food on the shelves as a number of times food is past their sell by dates.nnLastly, management needs to ensure their staff maintain good personal hygiene. We have noticed on a number of occasions some staff have very poor personal hygiene . Today some staff were packing shelves who had very bad body odour. This is totally unacceptable as these employees are working with food and the public. There shelves of shower gels soaps and body sprays in the store. The staff need to be encouraged to use them!!.nnWhen we visit rival supermarkets we never experience the staff having hygiene issues.nCome on ASDA get with it
