Used the toilets. Feels like it could do with a dam good clean. The hot water only trickles. The award is from 9 years ago and I doubt would be re-awarded.
Good parking and bus service. Excellent food choices and upstairs there are clothes toys household garden and sundry products. Access to lift too.
Not sure why they have removed check out staff after 8 pm . Absolute joke if you have a trolly full of food to check out . The staff are helpful but manually checking out would usually take about 10 to 15 minutes. Not sure how they missed the logic before they started to make the changes and put in a lot of self check in tills . Very bad idea and really spoils the thought of going to Asda anymore. Usually don’t write these reviews but can’t see how cheap Asda has become not just in products but also in service . Very very disappointed with such a nice company going down in quality of service
Fresh produce isn't exactly fresh, need to check satsumas grapes etc for squishy offness, depressing when you find your fruit is off when u get home. They also tend to leave leftover bakery items overnight to sell the following day when stale.
Big store and lovely staff. Bakery let me down was expecting more, more than half stuff is frozen and brought it with not appealing ingredients. They make loaf cakes and pancakes in place.
Dirty entrance, empty shelves items close to sell by date .Always long queues at checkout not a pleasant shopping experience will not shop there anymore after ten year's. Shop is a dump.
Shelves are normally near empty resulting in the shop having the feel of it closing down. Nowhere near enough manned checkouts, which is fine but make all the self scan points card only, having a mix of cash and card always results in a huge queue regardless of time or day. Staff are also super rude, suspect it's a mandate from management, but they hold the carrier bags hostage and if you have the audacity to ask for one they push you aside to scan it themselves as they don't trust you
Shockingly bad service today. A usual busy Sunday and only 2 normal tills open. Both lanes to queue were down alcohol lanes. Being an alcoholic in recovery was a massive trigger for me. I almost walked out
Great car fuel price and service. Store busy as always and toilets after a long drive. Well done team.
