This is the best Asda I've been too. All the staff here are incredibly friendly and kind, interior is modern and clean, lots of product selections, cafe, and its open 24 hours a day. Location is excellent in a retail park too, lots of parking. My new go to Asda if I am in the area.
The shop is way to expensive. Much cheaper to shop at bargain buys etc. even m&s is cheaper. The cafe is a joke as well. I ordered a bacon roll. The roll was minute. I have never seen such a small roll. It also had the texture of wet cardboard. Asda has gone way down hill since the current owners took over.
Loads of products available, conveniently situated on the retail park. A good clothes section, good for gifts, cards , birthday bags etc.nThe food section is vast , and the fresh produce is good and lasts a long time.nThe bakery is large and is pretty decent.nLots of alcohol options are available.nPuddings are pretty good for what you pay for them.nHandy, convenient, and you're likely to find what you need in there due to the large product ranges
My wife ordered an express click and collect for between 12.30 and 1pm. No communication to say there is an issue. I waited outside from 10 to to not be told anything different. Eventually at 10 past the worker says they are running late. Might be half an hour but not sure. I was told if not happy to phone his manager. Which I did. They didn't seem to understand the point that if you can't fulfill orders do not take on time slots then. Still got slots available today showing on system yet I would guarantee that anyone who books it won't get their orders. No offer of deliveries. Just to cancel the order. I start work in Glasgow just after this time slot and my wife is unable to leave the house currently, and she booked this thinking it would be easier. Total shambles. No organisation. No communication. No customer service. Well done Asda.
Went to this store on Friday 3rd January 2025. Never again. Both myself and partner are mobility limited. I used a store scooter, my partner a stick and a trolley. Getting around the store was ok. But when it came to checking out there were only 2 normal till, only 1of which was manned! The queue snaked backed into the store! We were directed to use self the checkouts! These are NOT COMPATIBLE for disabled shoppers!! This was the first and definitely the last time I will be going to this store. Unless they see sense and re-open some more manned tills!!
