What a great castle to visit for anyone who enjoys a little historical retreat! Initially, I thought that the tickets were quite pricey, but after the visit I'm happy to admit - they were worth every penny. The size and quality of each and every room you walk through, are exceptional. Each of the rooms is staffed, and the staff members have outstanding knowledge about all of the items, as well as the history of the castle itself. There is cheap parking just in front of the main entrance for convenience.
Great castle to visit. The gardens and surroundings are beautiful. The castle itself has many rooms to visit with detailed explanations on each one and what they would have been used for. I recommend coming when they have the reenactment events on as you get a look in on life through the different centuries. They also have actives like axe throwing ect to try. This is on in August so would make a good active to do with the kids.
It was an amazing experience for our family to visit a castle. Everyone loves it. It is very beautiful inside, and the garden looks fantastic in every corner. Very well maintained and staffs are lovely. Would definitely go back again Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Very nice castle to visit, very well looked after it looked new. The gardens were really pretty. We got there history men tour and it was really good fun. The town also had some art festival going on and was really cool with loads to see.
Fascinating history of Duke of Norfolk and others with beautiful rooms. Incredible chapel inside castle. Medieval keep is fun for kids but has very steep and narrow stairs. Gardens and fountains are beautiful.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
We loved visiting Arundel Castle. The rooms in the castle were so well kept and the staff were very friendly and informative , well worth a visit. The gardens were beautiful but not as large as I thought they would be. We had a great day visiting. I do feel though if you had a family it was an expensive trip .
This. Was. Amazing. I've toured many British castles, but this one was right at the top of the list! It was so beautiful and had so many details - furniture, paintings, photographs, documents, etc. There was so much to see and experience, and they didn't even have the bedrooms open the day we came! We spent almost the entire day here, and their staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I really enjoyed hearing all the history and details about the castle and how it is used in the family's daily life.

Lovely gardens and town to walk around. I had my dog so couldn't go into the castle. Lovely tea shops and cafes around the Castle.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
A really interesting place to visit as it is steeped in history and it is vast with many rooms to visit. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and are keen to share various insights as you pass through the castle. It is really hard to believe that it is actually a family home and that the Duke of Norfolk is in residence. Give yourself a good few hours and also visit the gardens they are beautiful.
