Artwords Bookshop is the specialist for books and magazines on the contemporary visual arts. We offer the most up-to-date selection of newly published titles, both nationally and internationally. Based in Shoreditch and Hackney, Artwords offers online and offline purchasing.

Artwords is dedicated to the contemporary visual culture and imports new publications from the European continent, North America and Australia. Artwords' staff have many years experience in art bookselling and have expert knowledge of art publishing over the last decade.

Love the niche selection of coffee table and fashion books. Always great to browse after a Broadway Market jaunt!
Really nice staff. One area of the bookshop is tricky for my wheelchair to get around, so it could be improved but the access into the shop is flat and the staff will reach things down for you. Just needs slightly smaller book display tables, so there's a big enough gap around them to reach all areas of the shop.
For me, one of the best libraries in town! Really nice selection of books and magazines, and with fair prices. I’ll go back to buy more books for sure!

Artwords makes Broadway Market well worth the visit. They have a great selection including bestselling coffee table books, theory, interesting independently published books and almost any art and culture magazine you could think of. Staff are friendly and helpful. Negative reviewers are generally people that have been asked not to take notes or photos from the books.
Fresh and very beautiful bookstore full of unexpected treasures. I found there everything I like: graphic, art, politics, gender, culture and literature. A quiet and gentle "book-keeper" gave me very good advices. I am still reading them at home, in Barcelona!
Great selection of books that are often not found in conventional bookshops. There are not a lot of fictional books however the majority of books sold are quite niche, trendy and educational. I would describe this as an out of the box bookshop ideal for creatives minds, students and entrepreneurs.
Great bookshop with some really interesting books. Always good for a bit of a browse and I always find something that I want to buy. I took a photo of one of the magazines as someone I knew had done some similar artwork. I didn't get told off!
