A lovely, well maintained site with nice facilities and electric hook up surrounded by fields and trees. Trevor couldn't have been more helpful. A 30 minute walk into Ireby for food and a few drinks. Will be back for sure
This camp site is in Arrowbrooke. A beautiful farm, lots of open fields and if you wish to park your vehicle and leave it I would feel quite safe in doing so. You can get the bus or train to Liverpool from here within a short walk. We travelled to West kirby. Moreton & Liverpool docks. I'm sure plenty of other locations are available. The campsite offers seperate shower block for men and women which are very clean and the showers are warm and are not restricted on time. Hooks available for clothing in the showers with big mirrors which i know us ladies appreciate. No sockets in showers though. They have toilet emptying facilities. Washing pot facilities. Electric hook up if needed. Water top up. We arrived in June 2023. Pretty flat pitches and all is grass. Phone signals are great too. Trevor is always on site and nothing is any trouble if you need anything. We came here 9 years ago and we will definitely return. Thank you Trevor. Very peaceful and beautiful site. First time away in my caravan and this site could not help me enough very clean and tidy would highly recommend thanks Danny
Very basic facilities, difficult in the shower due to lack of space in the cubicle.nThe field was unmowed so not easy to walk across and difficult to see dog poo which was behind our tent.nThe farmer was pretty miserable and came to settle up by making a gesture rubbing his fingers together, I thought that was quite rude.nOne wash up for the whole site which is totally inadequate.nI definitely wouldn't recommend.
