Not had the best start with my return to Mercedes from BMW. Took 3 days to get someone to answer the phone in servicing each time I had to hang up after waiting for a minimum of 10 minutes. Then no product Genie available for three days and to top it off I booked my car in for a service through the Mercedes’ website and selected the collection and delivery service only to have it cancelled just before the service was due. This dealership clearly at present has an issue with staff shortages, the staff when you actually get one are excellent, well trained and courteous. If it wasn’t for the distance to another Mercedes dealership I would definitely be looking elsewhere.
Ordered a car to be delivered to Newcastle from Mercedes Grangemouth. Delivery was fast and the car was clean when we got it. Disappointed with the after care, there is a chip in the windscreen, the start/stop system isn’t working which I have been told could be a problem with the battery and the passenger window is not working correctly. Arnold Clark are not accepting responsibility for this and have told me to go to my local Mercedes dealership as the window may be covered under the extended warranty. I have booked this in at my local Mercedes, with the risk of having to pay £174 for the problem to be diagnosed. If the problem is not covered under the extended warranty they have refused to refund this cost to myself, and I will have to pay for the repair on top of the £174 charge. I do not expect to get a new car on HP and have it in at a local dealership for repairs three weeks after receiving it. Lesson learnt - we will not be purchasing a car without viewing it in person in future.
Very disappointing service from the service manager. A 4 year old GLC less than average mileage 2 drive shafts droken due to a bearing going in the differential and no support whatsoever approaching MB to contribute to the £6K bill from Arnold Clark. Last Mercedes I'll buy and any other car will not be from Arnold Clark. Promise made but heard absolutely nothing since meeting 6 weeks ago.
Customer Service excellence thanks to Connor Cassidy. I am a stickler for good customer service and I got it here. I made initial contact with Connor to discuss my requirements new E class saloon and 2 weeks later I drove it out the forecourt! Throughout the purchasing process, I was kept up to date at all key stages. I got regular client communication and was guided through all the admin I personally needed to do to trade-in my old car and get setup for the new one. I never had to make the call to clarify anything. I then received a follow up call 2 days after I had the car to check all was good which it is. I live about 45 miles from the dealership but I am tempted to return there for all servicing. Thanks Arnold Clark Mercedes, Grangemouth, you understand customer service.

After a not so pleasant experience in the Leeds branch Nick made buying my next car a very smooth process and changed my opinion on the professionalism of the staff that work for this company. He made sure to keep me updated on the process and was transparent on any delays, faults etc and kept me in the loop at all times which was really important to me. The video sent was very detailed and I appreciate the check in call after collecting my car. Highly recommend, lovely staff even the reception ladies
I recently decided to upgrade my car & had enquired through the website about a particular model. I received a call from David Bell the very next day where we began discussing the options available, eventually seeing me purchase my new car through him. David was great throughout the entire process, ensuring that any & all questions I had were answered, keeping me up to date at all times in the process & ultimately helping get the new car to myself & handing over my old car. David also went above & beyond for myself as I had an unexpected family bereavement during the process, but David was more than able to assist me through the challenges I had in order to ensure smooth handover. Cannot recommend the service received highly enough.
I recently purchased a new car from this dealer. The service was fantastic, and David Bell went out his way to find a car that met my quite extensive wish list. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get a good deal with personable interaction.
