I originally went to this branch just for a look in 2012 but was so impressed with the customer service that I returned to purchase my car from Jonathan Greives and took my mum there shortly after to get her car! He was knowledgeable, professional and kind and made everything so easy for both of us. When it became time to change my car again recently, I knew that I would go back. Not only did Jonathan remember me, he remembered about my disability and needs and was able to help me find the right car for me. Of course, when my son passed his driving test, there was only one person that I would trust to buy a car from. He spent time listening to my son and taking him round to sit in lots of cars till he found the perfect car for him. As a disabled person, it’s so refreshing for someone to really listen and make sure they cater to your needs. He went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable and happy with my purchase and to ensure that my family were happy too. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a new car and will continue to value his opinion and advice when it comes to purchasing my next vehicles in the future.
I visited on Saturday 8th June and was welcomed by the salesman Glen who spent quite a bit of time with me ensuring I got the right car and deal and kept in touch with me till I collected the car this Tuesday. The car was perfectly clean inside and out and even had a phone call from Glen today checking I was happy with the car. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this branch to everybody
After 18 months, my engine failed. I had taken it in for an oil problem and my service. They ignored the oil problem and went ahead with my service and mot. Charged me £1400. Had to take it back for oil issue a week or so later and they tell me I need a new engine for £5400. My car won’t drive. Stuck in finance for £228 a month. Citroen offered to pay half. Arnold Clark won’t do a thing to help. They say they “treat customers fairly”, this is yet another lie from them. Avoid at all costs !!! *** I have contacted customer service and your CEO - refusing to help me. I’m a long term loyal customer as well. Once they have your money, they literally don’t care. Well done Arnold Clark - you’ve left a mum of two without a car, meaning I can’t work and I can’t take my kids to school. But ! I’m still paying £228 a month for the car you sold me and serviced twice, you passed its mot and took £1400 off me for repairs. And a week later tell me I need a new engine. AVOID !!!!!
Ordered my motability car from them. Waited months - nothing. I phoned to be told of delays. Months later my car was in Derby so should get it in a week then 6 weeks later still no car. Just multiple excuses every time. Ended up cancelling car and went elsewhere and got it within the time I was told. Never use them again.
From the moment we arrived at arnold clark Queens drive Johnny was very helpful helping us find a new car for my daughter he gave us alot of helpful advice and also helped us secure a car for my daughter would definitely buy from arnold clark again as long as Johnny was the one to help us
I have used this branch a few times and have always had a great experience with Johnny. He has always been patient and insightful and happy to answer queries which is reassuring for someone with zero knowledge!
Arnold Clark are generally good at selling cars. What they're not good at is the after sales servicing. Here's a few examples; Assuring you your car can be serviced at a non franchise dealer then returning it to you with a note to say a particular repair needs to be carried out franchise dealer. Having a service department that's impossible to get through to on the phone because it's understaffed but somehow that's the customers problem. Agreeing a vehicle will be ready at a particular time and then not bothering about it. Recommending certain work be carried out when it's never mentioned in the service technician video that's sent to you. By all means buy a car off this branch just don't go anywhere near the service department
Very disappointed after I have sent my car for MOT at ford garage Kilmarnock on the 8th of march and failed. I passed by Ford garage on Friday the 15th to be told my car would be ready that day which resulted in me returning my hired car on Saturday the 16th. On my way from work I went to collect my car to be told the car wasn’t ready and they weren’t sure when they were going to get the part to fix the car. I ended up getting told that it wasn’t their fault that I owned an unusual car which was difficult to find parts. After raising the issue with their customer service this is when I discovered the car was likely to stay with them for a month coz they had to source the parts from eBay. Communication is power guys, when I chose you guys to MOT my car it’s all because of dealing with a lot of folks from sales team who have respect for people regardless of gender, colour etc. Kate from customer service u mentioned my car was MOTd for free. No it wasn’t i bought my after care package. I later on collected my car and had a fantastic service from Tesla who took two days to come out and fix my car. I hope Arnold Clark is proud of yous but what goes round comes around.

Terrible garage. Booked my 4x4 in as it was having issues changing gears. There was also an outstanding recall on the diff so booked it in for this aswell, this was 2 seperate bookings and recieved confirmation of this. In the 2 week wait for my appointment the problem got progressively worse. I took the 4x4 up at 8am on the agreed day and the garage was absolutely heaving... couldn’t get parked anywhere near the service area. I left the vehicle and didn't hear from anyone what was going on until I phoned up at 5pm and the lady on the phone told me it was ready to be picked up. She said they don't have the tool to do the recall but the gear issue is being caused by the diff and once this is repaired this with solve the jumping gears but I would need to take it to glasgow. I then booked into Glasgow evan halshaw which took another 3 weeks. Evan halshaw carried out the recall which was just a check of the diff that turned out to be fine and said the gear issue is 100% nothing to do with the diff. I then called back Arnold Clark Kilmarnock and got another lady on the phone who I asked why I was told this and she said that I was never told this and I was told they can't look at the gear issue without sorting the diff as this could be realted and they dont have the tool to check the diff. I then asked why would someone take my booking for the recall and the gear issue if they are not capable of fixing either? To which I was told she doesn't know and it was her who booked me in. I genuinely don't think they even looked at my car. They took my booking and decided not to bother trying to fix or diagnose anything and blamed it on a recall that had nothing to do with the issue. I took a day off work for this and a return trip to kilmarnock for nothing and also set me back over a month in getting my 4x4 repaired to which I have now been informed it needs a new gearbox at a cost of 8k!
