Here at The Ark we specialise in providing excellent quality of care for your companion animals. We have been looking after the family pets of West Sussex for over 20 years.

Story

We are situated in easily accessible sites in Burgess Hill and Hassocks, and our premises are RCVS accredited as well as being approved training centres for veterinary nurses. We offer health care for all small animals including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and other 'small furries'.
We also offer a comphrehensive preventative heallth care scheme known as the Healthy Pets Club

I've been using the Ark group for over 25 years since I used to take my guinea pigs here! The staff are so incredibly kind and accommodating. They took good care of my cat recently when he needed a complex operation on his mouth. Really lovely and professional.

Appalling customer service. Advised me to have extensive dental work costing circa £700 on a 17 year old cat - which then passed away a few days later from an apparently unrelated blood clot. Absolutely no sympathy offered, no refunds for 'health pet club' membership they talked me in to taking out. Whole family furious that our cat was made to suffer at this age. Avoid at all costs - much better vets in the area.

I have been with the Ark for some time and have never had any issues, even if we have needed to use our insurance which can be an issue with some vets. Friendly staff who do what they can to help.
