I have visited this pub on a number of occasions and have always been impressed by the excellent service and the friendly staff. The customers like the establishment and the local area are upmarket but not unfriendly.
A great little pub in Marchmont with regular tradition music sessions by musicians who really know what they’re doing. Slow in the afternoon but picks up around 4:30. Nice German beers on tap.
Proper homely pub with really friendly staff. Good drinks and good selection of students and locals.
Open during covid, great pub near the meadows, live music once the lockdowns over.
Great bar with good prices for students. Went for a pub quiz the other day and found it thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Top place for a drink
Just go there you'll know!!?? It's the best bar around these parts folk's. Very good staff. What more do you need?
Good Atmosphere. Traditional local pub. Seating outside on the corner under canopy on the summer. Cellar bar club also a fringe venue. Good beers been many times for beer n a chat with friend n family. A local local. Delightful licensee!
We booked the cellar bar downstairs out for a private event on Friday. The staff were so accommodating and welcoming even though there were a fair few of us there. It is a lovely place and we were looked after well. Can reccomend highly!
