Excellent friendly pub. Good choice of beers. The barmaid is superb we didn't catch her name though. So looking forward to our next visit.

Well priced drinks. Friendly staff. Spotless ladies' toilets with supplies available - tampons, deodorant, tissues etc. Music too loud for easy conversation.
Cash only on the day, hope that gets fixed soon as really inconvenient. Average selection of drinks. Otherwise friendly staff and a great place to watch the sports.

My dog often drags me in as he gets fed treats by the bar staff and the locals. Very friendly, lovely people. Chewie loves it there and he encourages me to go in, so I'd might as well drink a beer so I'm happy.
I popped in for a pint on the way home after having a few pints elsewhere, only to be confronted by an aggressive barmaid who said I could only have one pint even though I was probably the most sober customer in there. Fine, no problem. Sat alone having a quiet pint and asking for another was refused with a smirk and a shake of a head, even though I was surrounded by drunks that were clearly more drunk than me. Staff ought to realise that they are overheads whereas customers are income. Hardly a shining example of how to run a pub. No loss to me - I can drink anywhere else where my custom is welcome.
