Open 7 days a week from 12 to 1am, the music policy includes; rock and roll, blues, folk, funk and soul through to indie pop and alternative rock as well as Electronica, electroswing trap and EDM. As always the premises will continue to deliver a wide selection of malt whiskies, real ales, worldwide spirits as well as great bar food.
The music programme will have acts on every night apart from Wednesday, Monday and Sunday nights: Open Mic on Fridays where you can be the star of the stage and perform, or just enjoy a good time. Tuesdays The Dog House High Fidelity Jam mixes everything up a little bit. Thursdays is The Pound with pumping hip hop, live MCs and 80s/90s classics. Saturday nights play host to Bangers and Mashed, an exploration through Electronic Music or the odd other live act.
The Dog House provides that full live gig experience down by the stage yet keeps secluded around bar where customers can converse while still enjoying the dynamic and visually stimulating aspect of live music.It is the ideal venue for gaining live playing experience and can also accommodate newly signed artists who are on the road developing a fan base.
