This is a great place, whether you want a beer or a coffee. They have recently renovated a bit although parts don't look quite complete. The staff are a great laugh and in my experience are always friendly.

Generally a positive experience. Food was cheap and delicious, staff was great. The atmosphere is relaxed, you notice the proximity to the university quite a bit.

A small, but popular pub, with a very nice and often overlooked upstairs area. Staff are friendly and there is a good selection of beer at the bar.

Great relaxed pub, serves no nonsense, fairly priced food and had great selection of ales and cocktails.

Really sad to see this place get refurbished so soon into its life - hopefully it comes back just as good on the other side.
