Nice store nice spacious. With other shops around it so good for shopping. Down side is that the parking is for only 2 hours not the normal 3 hours. I got caught out by this and had a parking fine. 2 hours isn't long enough if you want to shop and eat etc.
Tried to do a shop this morning using a trolley and found only one normal checkout in operation with a second being closed. Not great for what is a large store. Had to use the card only automated tills which are totally unsuitable for a large shop. Clearly Sainsburys are now so wealthy they can afford to deter people trying to do a weekly shop. Shame that wealth can't be utilised to reduce prices. I'm also not to impressed by the agressive speed humps installed in the car park which are in addtion to those already in place.
Store looked dirty and old. Shopping trolleys old and worn. Lighting poor, no music on in store. Stock was low and lots of gaps on shelves around the store. Layout was messy and disorganized. There were no meal inspiration or ideas especially when it was a Bank Holiday Weekend. The till aisles had empty shelving on show which looked dingy. I wanted to dump my trolley half way round! We queued up for 15 mins to pay and cashier talked in front of us to her manager about finishing her shift at 4.00. Staff walking round aimlessly and picking going on in busy aisles. Store needs updating and a fresh look as still in 1980's. Will not be visiting there again, wasted money through lack of choice!
I like Sainsbury's some items are a bit pricey but today had my groceries delivered very nice driver he carried my shopping up to my flat as our lift is out of order again stairs are very painful for me as disabled
Very large supermarket. There is a vast selection of goods available, from normal grocery items, to clothing, homeware, and Argos at the front of the store. The staff are friendly at the Argos stand, and offer any assistance if you need it to find any items. There is also a Sainsbury's petrol station, near one of the entrances to the car park. There are plenty of spaces available including disabled and children.
I love sainsburys its very clean the toilets are immaculate Never dirty.and the staff are very well trained as on two occasions when I have been to the worle store they have come up to me to offer assistance. As I'm disabled and on a mobility scooter. Can't praise them enough.
Lack of till staff annoying. Spending £130. Week not prepared to self service. Having said that Tara and the gang very personable, good to see her smiling face.
First of all, I need to tell that I don't shop at Sainsbury's. Sometimes I pop in and buy one of two things. Today, I went to collect rest of the Christmas gifts at Argos, and I thought that I might buy rest of the Christmas food in Sainsbury's - as it's across the road. I always placed this shop is above Tesco, and Asda, but below Waitrose. Shoppers always looked posh - but like I said. I never made any bigger shopping there. Always - pop in - pop out. This time, I've been welcomed by an orchestra which been playing carols. I thought it's really nice. Later on, I compared this to the Titanic movie - ship was sinking but an orchestra was still playing. I had a list of the items to buy. I looked at the shelves and some basic items like vegetables or bread been emptied already. No flour in stock. Juice shelves loaded with empty carton packaging. Staff was friendly when I asked for help with finding some products but their main target was to remove Christmas decoration. I was in ASDA earlier today - everything in stock. But I had to buy a few missing things. Yes, I was lazy as I thought I will solve everything in one go when I went to Argos but what I seen at Sainsbury's exceeded my expectations. Staff at Lidl is always cleaning the shelves from empty boxes - moves products to front. Lidl at Winterstoke Rd. is always doing above and beyond. This is my personal opinion. I felt totally disappointed when I had to pay for my shopping - basket was half loaded = £75 Finally, I don't know who is buying there but for the same products, I would pay £50 or less at Lidl. The band was playing carols and I was lucky that I left this ship.
It's a supermarket? Clothing range is good for the kids. Sainsbury always seems a little more expensive but the quality seems good. Not my go-to supermarket as not on my way home but do pop in from time to time.
Clean light and good air con, pleasant to shop in this store which has some good quality products, but as we are all on a budget I tried their 80p wholemeal bread..AWFUL, chewy and tasteless when fresh, tastes like wet cardboard when toasted dreadful .. asdas 39p loaf 300% better !!! BUT.. WHY DO YOU CHARGE SO MUCH !??? Who do you think you are selling to ? Are all your customers middle class Tory voters ? In this Tory manufactured crisis you should be helping customers NOT PUTTING PRICES UP EVERY WEEK ! A DISGRACE OF A COMPANY.
