Poor service today from both the online side of argos and the coleraine store. Was told by the online operator i can be authorised a refund/ credit note on items i no longer needed but when entering the store was totally dismissed by the store manager despite me having a full transcript of the conversation i had with their online colleague. Poor communication between the online shop and the stores of the correct return procedure. This and another poor experience i had with Argos has really put me off shopping with them further.
Poor service - staff not capable of dealing with a damaged product, a lot of wasted time back and forth.
Cramped. The staff are overworked, and the queues aren’t really properly marked. Was just in and the whole setup was organised. That said, this is coming from the company who could have easily beaten Amazon at their own game but were so slow-footed that they’re now a pick-up location in a supermarket. It’s a pity. The original idea was a genius one.
Argos is situated inside Sainsbury's supermarket at Riverside Park Coleraine, it wouldn't be a great place to go to order something as the space for ordering something is very small, and although some members of staff are very helpful one lady needs to be trained in better customer service
I had ordered 3 plastic storage boxes for click and collect, and a friend was going to be collecting them as they were going through Coleraine that day. They collected the boxes to realise as they walked out, that there were 3 lids, and only 2 boxes. Immediately they went back in and mentioned it, the member of staff looked for the box and couldn't find it strange how a box can go missing and the lid didn't isn't it. The only options were to take the 2 boxes and get a partial refund of £5.50 is was £16 for 3, or leave them and get a full refund. But as I was not there, they said they couldn't refund the money to the account I used to pay in the first place, and gave a gift card with the amount on it, which is total nonsense, if it can be done on Amazon, eBay and PayPal etc, why can't Argos do it? I don't want an Argos gift card frankly as I don't want to shop with them after this poor service, and I had spent ages finding the right set of boxes in one of my closer stores, only for them to not be in stock, ridiculous.
Totally useless service came all the way from Limavady at 21:30 to collect a reservation only to be told it’s closed at 21:30 but it’s says 22:00 hrs on Google and on their website also AVOID at all costs
Fasttrack? More like snailtrack. Waited 20 mins on a supposedly fast service. Was served by someone who was rude. First time I've ever received such terrible customer service at argos. Wish he was wearing a name badge so I could name and shame!
Great selection of goods. I see some reviewers are disappointed but I have never found any problems.
Great service apart from the the small problems with the touch screen computers as very slow to give information & some even out of order. I would definitely recommend it for value and service.
Return Policy is a horrendous. The company policy states "the item should be unused, in its original packaging and in a re-sellable condition" which i agree but the Ipad i brought has crucial first steps of setting up in order to use or find out what the product is really like. I went to Argos hoping to return the Ipad with full recipet in the box , fully aware of 28 days policy which they said they cannot accept it anymore due to the fact it is ' second hand' now. How can anyone use a product without setting up at first and then all of sudden it becomes ' second hand' in a matter of DAY? P. S re-directing to Apple did not help and i am stuck with £200 ipad which i do not need whatsoever
