Bought a Lego switch game as part of a pack. Would not return it due to the game not having wrapping on it. The game was in a box with a case so it would not have. I asked them to open on on shelf and they refused. Then they told me to contact Argos online. They said it could not be returned as it is a digital download but that is not mention in the returns policy. They agreed that is was not but still would not accept any responsibility so just kept the money and now we have a game that is useless. Really need to looks at returns policy on the website as it does not line up with what is in the product description.
Bunch of liers , lied to online and lied to instore would order from Amazon more convience and delivered to your door
Ordered for collection after 9am then emailed to say collect after 4pm when I am at work. Visited at 3.30pm, order was on the shelf but a quite frankly rude staff member told me to wait for collection number. Walked out and cancelled the order. I do not reward poor customer service in store by spending money.
Friendly and helpful staff. Picked up an order quickly. You can exchange Sodastream gas canisters there.
Went to collect a PS5 today and the box was ripped. Told the staff and they just laughed in my face. Terrible arritude. They said do you know how long it takes to get one of these!
Just been into the goole store of Argos to get my watch strap adjusted and received a nice warm welcome and some great service! The adjustment was done on the spot by a lovely lady and my partner then brought a watch for himself and again received some great service! So would definitely recommend this store to anyone.
Never had a problem with staff in this store until my husband tried to return a product. The item had an intermittent fault so 10 days after purchasing we decided to return it. The staff, 3 members including the manager, treated my husband like a criminal! Because they couldn't see the fault, even though my husband explained it didn't happen often, they wouldn't believe him. After nearly 30 minutes my husband was told they would refund us but only as a 'goodwill gesture'. We are both retired, respectable and honest people. This experience will make us think twice in future about shopping with this company. There are other retailers, I'm sure, who will welcome our business.
Need information regarding a reservation which should be ready but i haven't had notification, cant get any information from the store as they don't answer the phone. Live chat is a 11 minute wait which never decreases... Helpful Not!
Very well organised under the present situation, however customers still attempting to sneak in just as soon as the argos employee has their back turned.
Very impressed by the staff and reception we received at our local Goole store. We returned an item that had broken and were very pleased to be dealt with quickly and pleasantly. Wonderful service Thank you Goole staff.
