Great place to shop. You can either pay online and come here to pick the order or, you can directly visit the shop and purchase the item you are looking for. The customer service was amazing and the old lady who helped me was just amazing. The shop was not at all crowded when I visited but the shopping centre was super crowded.
I bought some fairly expensive over-ear headphones at this Argos but when I tried them on I found that they were too small for my head and hurt to wear. I tried to return them under Argos' 30 day returns policy, however they wouldn't take them as they had been "worn" - I had only tried them on and realised they were too small. The person serving me was also not very friendly or apologetic at all. I was trying to buy local but I wish I had just bought from Amazon, where I have never had a problem returning an item.
Very strange atmosphere. Felt like I was interrupting a social club when I arrived to collect an item. Served by the only person not wearing a name badge. Didn't say a word while entering my collection code into the system. At least put a bit of effort in . All staff members standing around doing absolutely nothing. People should be made to feel welcome at the very least. 2 stars as I did get served straight away as the shop was dead
Bought a suitcase at a different branch and the wheel collapsed on first use when travelling to Dundee. Had no receipt with me, and spoke to a really helpful young lady on the phone who gave me the transaction details and advised me to take it into the Overgate store for a replacement. Staff member in store got a supervisor to authorise this and I was refused a replacement: she said it had been damaged intentionally? Wouldn't listen to anything I had to say and basically refused to discuss it. Why on earth would I break it on purpose and then want another one?! No refund, no replacement, and another £70 on a new suitcase at another shop just so I could transport my belongings home.
Service could be quicker, but overall a good experience. Friendly staff and were able to answer my queries. Able to pick up out of stock item the next day.
A good place to shop, not that crowded, covid 19 aware and social distance is required, you can pay by card or cash and order ahead of time and your item will be ready to pick up when you arrive. Aegis has a good app that save paper on past catalogue that just wasted paper. Has wheelchair accessible parking and location in in the second floor of the shopping mall. Staff are friendly and surfaces are cleaned regularly by the looks of things. I will do more shipping here in the future

Sold second hand goods as new with parts missing. 10 days from returning goods still waiting on my money being refunded due to staff incompetence. 2 twenty minute phone calls later I had to issue a claim through PayPal to try and get my money back. DO NOT BUY GOODS FROM HERE. When asked to be transferred to a manager you get put on hold then after 10 minutes you get told there is now a fault with the phone and you can’t be put through, worst after sales service EVER. I’m now £130 out of pocket until the money is refunded sometime in the next 30 days.
They should change their name to "ForEverOuttaStock" Never any new products and prices have skyrocketed. Staff that tell you blatant lies. The sodastream exchange clearly says "Not currently availabe" and has done for years. But according to the woman behind the counter you can buy them in store. Which is lies. You can't they haven't done them since the beginning of the pandemic.
Ordered a washing machine,endless phone calls just to get it delivered only to find it was faulty! They offered an engineer I paid for a new working washing machine, not a reconditioned washing machine they then offered my money back but only once it has been picked up, now its endless phone calls trying to get it picked up! Customer care are so cheeky and have a very cheeky and uncaring attitude like im putting them out! Will not be using them again!
