Excellent service, even though I work there!!

Absolutely gobsmacked on how the burgesshill store has gone down hill , I have been there 3 times within the last 6 months , and everytime it seems more hassle than its worth , twice for jewellery which I can not understand why on earth they have a jewellery counter as it never has staff on it , so had to go to tills 1st time I had to pay for item before viewing and then the second time I insisted on viewing item first , which my waiting time was 9minutes then I had to queue up again at the tills to pay item which by this time there was a long queue, it is so under staffed , but saying that all staff are friendly,  but the shop is not organised, Argos was one of my best shops ,it used to be convenient,  and hassle free but now it is my worst nightmare and I try and avoid as much as possible

Visiting Argos while visiting Sussex I found the young lady who served me at Burgess hill, Lynn, very very helpful. Being a former retailer before retiring it was delightful to be given a helping hand on a purchase I wanted to make. Lynn was a credit and ambassador for the company.

Pay online and skip the queue they said. I'm here waiting for others to get served first because there is only one member of staff on the tills. All the advantages of nothing. Thankyou.

Seems like a store on its last legs, took nearly 30 mins to pick up a small online reservation and the store looked shabby, leaflets & rubbish on the floor along with broken biscuits, till staff friendly but apologetic about the wait which seems to be a standard response to lack of staff these days. Management seems to be lacking. Will think twice about returning.

I can't imagine that Argos is anyone's idea of "destination shopping".  It's a faintly depressing experience really, sitting on a plastic chair waiting for your number to be called. A bit like a visit to the dentist, except you get to take home a power screwdriver at the end of it.

The manager is a dipshit always rude refuses to give me refunds on fuity products never going back I go to Brighton great and fast service 5***** for Brighton sorry but I was in there trying to explain what happened is what was wrong took him over a hour to work it out told me to phone some number with I already done before I went only for him to ring and get told the same thing even after that was in there over an hour then after all they he put it on a gift card I took receipt and every thing

Not the best Argos store. Slow service. Scruffy decor. Limited stock.

Not a great store tatty not enough staff so they are to busy to provide a good customer service
