This is a rural post office which is important to the community. Every time I seem to go, it isn't open. The main website says it opens at 8am, I went at 8.40am and it wasn't open. Given this is a rural area, like me people travel several miles to get to it, so it is a waste of time and money going to this post office if you cannot rely on it being open. It is the same around the lunchtime period. They do close for lunch, but the time is never stated anywhere and it can vary, so how is anyone supposed to know when to go. Sometimes you get there and the OPEN sign is flashing, but the lights are off and no one is there. This is a vital rural service and it is very poorly managed. I am going to start using Dedham and not bother even trying to see if they have graced us with opening!

Been my local post office my whole life and has been taken over by new owners and they are not trained fully there for unable to complete their job. I asked for a refund for my gas as they put the wrong amount on my card and they were unable to do so and argued with me about the amount I said. Very disappointed 😡
