We stayed two nights arriving on a Monday, and received a very warm and informative welcome from the concierge, detailing local points of interest, how to get to the city by foot or vehicle, bus times and prices, and taxi prices, as well as information about the hotel. We were then led to our room - lovely, quaint, and spacious, with good views and a large bed. We both slept comfortably both nights, and enjoyed breakfast each morning. A good choice on the breakfast front; from the standard cooked breakfast, to those a little more fancy. Truly enjoyed the salmon with poached egg on crumpets! I'm sure there's proper name for it, but a description will have to do. The staff were all wonderful, and helpful throughout. With out a doubt, we'd definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were very polite and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was very nice and served at our table, which was properly layed out with a nice white table cloth. Great attention to detail and I would recommend this hotel. We shall visit again.

What a fantastic place to stay!!! Staff wonderful, bed superb and a lovely setting. Nice walk into town (down hill) with map provided by reception on arrival. Taxi back less than a tenner!!! (£10) or use your legs!!!!

An elegant and understated building, suggesting a certain class, which it delivers. Subtle and stylish. A charming and unfussy welcome, friendly and attentive care shown at all times and accommodating to the fore. Truly pleasant. There is an ease of comfort throughout the hotel, service is impeccable, all the while a vast amount of work continues behind the scenes, the ambience is maintained at all times allowing a pervasive sense of contentment. Miroslaw and Kate were amiable, approachable and professional at all times. A most pleasurable stay.

Beautiful elegant place plus nice deco which takes you back in time with lovely staff. Breakfast are yummy.would recommend to anyone..
