Bought run around vehicle. Needed some work before collection which was not done. Car sold without antifreeze only water which completely froze with the cold weather. Battery died after 1 week of owning the car. No help from company now blocked my number and ignore emails. I called and get told the manager Adam is out every time and very rude now the car is purchased. Never buy a car from them!
Don't be fooled by their seeming affiliation with the AA. Their website address is aacarcentre, but they're not directly connected with the AA. Some of their vehicles have an AA check done on them, which anyone can do, and not all of their vehicles have it an £80 add-on if you want it. Staff are reasonably friendly and helpful up to the point of sale. I was due to return to get a window motor replaced. I waited 3 weeks for them to finally get the part with little to no helpful information. The morning I had arranged to get it sorted, I arrived to no staff there, had to wait 3 hours for the mechanic/electrician to show up, and the staff then proceeded to then go and have a very aggressive argument in a side room, leaving me in the office alone. I ended up taking the part and leaving and paying my own mechanic £70 to fit it. The way the place is run is a joke, thankfully I'm done with them and have no need to ever go back.
Phoned in regarding cheap starter car, then went in to visit. Guy at the desk was abrupt, rude and unhelpful, gave us the keys and told us to find the car ourselves in the rain. Car was not as described on website - flat battery, flat tire, broken demisters, smashed right mirror and bumper hanging off and engine light showing. When I told him that the car wasn't as advertised he brought up the picture of the car on autotrader and said "I can see that it's broken. You get what you pay for" We then looked at a different car for a similar price, but he couldn't be bothered to move another car to let us test drive it. He said "go in the car, see what the inside is like and then check the insurance price to see if you can afford it. We then asked about another car and he said "it'll be too expensive for you to insure anyway" had not asked any questions about our spending limit/ability. After checking the insurance price he says "its broken anyway, so it isn't the right car for you." So we walked out.
Horrific! I wish I knew not to deal with them! There is nothing professional about the way they work or their mannerism. They are extremely disrespectful and agressive and not to forget manipulating liars! If I could give a negative figure for their review I would!
