We came here for a day out with the children, and we were very impressed with the cleanliness and the environment. All the staff are attentive and helpful. The trails are interesting and engaging. Not as many animals in. However, there are lots of different cages, paths, and activities around. There's a small coffee shop with an inside playground and also an outside country park. The entry is quite cheap we paid only £25 for 2 adults and 3 children, and the parking is for free lots of spaces available. Definitely recommend it.
Overall it was an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately there were several exhibits that were out of order or lacking and the cafe lacked options but there were many exotic animals to see. My overall visit was expected to be 3-4 hours but ended up being just over 1, and that was after 2 laps of the place. Not very expansive but the things that are present are great; I thoroughly enjoyed the reptilian, monkey and red panda exhibits. Facilities were decently maintained other than the Caffè and price board which had seen better days. Customer service was mediocre but you go for the animals so you can't really complain.
Lovely little wildlife park with a variety of animals to view and see. It is surprisingly big compared to the entry price you have to pay. Has a nice cafe and outdoor seating areas if you have brought a picnic. Great value and entertainment for the kids. There's a pay and display car park right next door, which again was reasonably priced.
It was a rainy Wednesday afternoon in the school term time when I visited so it was quiet which was nice. There are quite a lot of maps around but I found them a bit confusing. The animals are really cute and most were quite active so you aren't finding yourself bored waiting to see an animal move. I can't speak on either the cafe or the gift shop as I didnt go to cafe and the gift shop was closed when I left which was a bit disappointing because I wanted to look around it.
Despite the rain and cool weather we had a good time enjoying the surroundings. Our favourite was the Dragons Lair. Friendly and enthusiastic staff at the entrance and cafè.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Such a great place to visit, very reasonably priced less than £8 per adult ticket with lots to see. Parking was a little difficult as there was a cricket event happening on the day we visited but there's lots of residential streets nearby which you can park on for free. Would definitely recommend it.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
What a fab place! I spent 3 hours walking around here today, but I could easily have stayed another 3 if I didn't have a train to catch! The nocturnal house was a highlight for me, the armadillo was very active and it was fun to watch him scuttling around. Also loved the red panda and the capybara. It was my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last! I even treated myself to an armadillo from the gift shop.
Hidden little gem. This place was really nice. Very clean. The animals were very lively and clean. Prices to get in the park were good 2. Plenty to see and do.
So many animals to see. It is clear they are well looked after and happy. Entrance price is very reasonable and I would highly recommend a visit. The red pandas are lovely.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
