Had a great day on the day boat Bella. Steve was very friendly and gave us a full run through on the boat and we were on our way very quickly. We had 9 adults on board and there was plenty of room, but we were lucky with the weather so could use more of the outside space at the. If we had to sit inside it might have been a bit of a squeeze. We travelled south from the base, the day boat isn't insured for going through locks so it can only go south towards Nantwich. We stopped at a picnic area just after Nantwich & Border Counties Yacht Club and just before bridge number 92. There were half a dozen picnic tables, each with a barbecue stand which you fit a couple of small disposal barbecues. The boat was well stocked with cups, glasses, plates and cutlery. The canal was a bit wider there so we made a quick 3 point turn (The day boat is VERY easy to turn compared to the 60ft boats I've been on in the past) then headed back to Bunbury within a couple of hours.

Lovely place to start your holiday to Chester, Llangollen, Cheshire ring or the Four Counties ring from. Brilliant views of the Bunbury staircase locks or the historic stable block. Nice little shop serving Tea & Coffee and home made cake, ice cream and cold drinks
