"Based in Rayleigh Essex, this Angling Shop can be found just off the A127 onto Claydons Lane. AD Rayleigh is the perfect stop to stock up on your fresh or frozen baits just before a session. The free car park ensures you can browse without a rush.The shop is divided into upstairs for rods, trolleys, bivvies and clothing and the ground floor is for terminal tackle, reels and baits. We also stock most tackle brands from Fox to Mainline. Our enthusiastic team can give advice on tackle and tips on fishing across the disciplines.Rayleigh occasionally holds events inside the store such as meet and greets and book signings of some of the finest anglers in the community."

Had gift voucher bought for me during lock down which had expired. They refused to honour it. £20 notes don't have expiry dates. They take your money and refuse to honour the purchase. Expiry dates should never apply . Never buy gift cards from this company no matter how long they say you have to spend them. Obviously they knew gift cards could not be redeemed in store during lock down and so they are happy to pocket the cash and not have to supply any goods. Not everyone wants to or is able to shop on line. Nice way to boost your profits at the customer's expense. Clearly they have recovered from the COVID difficulties and tossed away compassion and customer service with it. Would it really have hurt them to reinstate a £20 gift card. I feel like I have had money stollen from me.
Bob helped us get set up for a fishing trip last week. He was really helpful and took the time to explain everything we needed.
Will be Back to get more . Very happy with all and very helpful founding bits too and there loads too . Will be the place to go for me now .

For a totally green angler like me I haven't fished for 40+ years, the staff within this angling shop are excellent. Whilst I did have some equipment they explained that it was very limited for sea fishing but ideal for river/pond fishing. Since I am very interested in sea fishing they explained with great patience what type of equipment was best, why and how certain items worked and fitted. They weren't pushing for me to buy equipment from them but I knew that I needed it anyway and they equipped me without breaking the bank. I would definitely recommend this shop and the staff to all anglers.

Staff didn't even know what a swim feeder was i only do carp fishing when I asked him where the feeders was
