About

Anglian Community Trust is a charity organisation for the benefit of the community of North East Essex and surrounding areas.

Story

The main focus in this first year has been to:
• Establish the Charity as a legal entity,
• Appoint a Board of Trustees,
• Establish appropriate Governance systems,
• Set up Administrative, Corporate, Governance and Financial services to support the Board of Trustees,
• Raise the profile of the Charity within the communities that it is able to provide social impact funding to, for example, through a dedicated web page, at community events and through local press.
• Consider applications for Social Impact Funding and when agreed, make funding available,
• Recruit two new Independent Trustees to the ACT Board.

Mission

To promote and protect the social, mental and physical health, welfare and well-being of people in the community of North East Essex and surrounding areas.
