Best food I have ever tasted excellent service awesome food presentation and reasonable prices. A must try restaurant.

Although very different from before.  Pub grub is the main feature.  Felt very safe and Lin and Ian make you very welcome. Would go again.

An amazing place with food which is simply Brilliant. Staff very attentive and polite. Always worth the trip from Birmingham to Swadlincote.

This was my first visit to The Angel, but it certainly won't be my last. From the very welcoming staff, to the delicious food which was all freshly cooked, I couldn't find anything to fault. Set in a nice location, it is a friendly place to enjoy a most satisfactory meal & drink. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
