Very very happy with this service! Was my first time trying Mr Andreas since the tailor in Queens Park was a rip-off and left me with a bad service which needed fixing... Found Mr Andreas who saved me so last minute! Took 3 pairs of trousers to get fixed for work, including a blazer which needed tailoring! GOOD PRICES and EXCELLENT service! He completed the work in just 2 days with a quality service! Would definitely recommend and will be going back again!
The worst experience I have ever encountered. He lied for three weeks saying that my top and skirt would be finished in two days. When I have been going back to check if he had finished the job, he kept on coming up with excuses his machine was broken, he couldn't walk to get the thread and he had an eye appointment which at first I thought, fair enough. When I eventually called for a refund, he told me my top was done but the skirt was not he had said earlier in the day that the skirt just needed to be pressed. When I tried on my top it was extremely big, even though he took my measurements, he had not added any wiring so the top was very floppy. I asked for a refund and he was very aggressive verbally and physically and told me that he was not going to give me my money back banging his till and the table. He is an elderly man so I did not want to disrespect him but he is very unprofessional. Will not be returning to him due to his inadequate service. Stay clear!
The owner of this place is a waste of time and energy. Very rude, overcharges and does not seem to be able to finish his work on time.... I left a bridemaids dress to this guy and asked how long it would take him on a Saturday. He told me it would be done by Wednesday .... I came back on Friday: he hadn't started it because he had to go to hospital for his eyes.... fair enough, the wedding was not that close... Told me to come back the following day: still hadn't started it. Told me to come back on Monday. I came back on Saturday afternoon: couldn't start it because he didn't have the thread matching the colour of my dress, his car broke down so he couldn't buy any thread...The wedding was approaching and I started to feel stressed so I got him some thread. He confirmed the dress would be done for the following Monday. I came back the following Monday : the thread I bought wasn't good enough for him.... I lost my patience and told him I wouldn't leave his shop without my dress. He threatened me, told me I was lucky to be a woman, because he would have beaten me.... I managed to get my dress, undone, and some of my money back and saw another Taylor way more professional and not overpriced like this once. She charged me 25£ when this rude man charged me 55£. AVOID
You pay for what you get with this guy. My jacket sleeve shortening resulted in two different length sleeves. Took a good week to sort out. If you can, avoid this guy and look for another tailor.
Been going to Andreas for years, a proper tailor, he really knows his stuff, every alteration he's done for me has been spot on. You're the best
Friendly service, good price and fixed my jacket perfectly when it seemed beyond repair.
