Has a really nice atmosphere, went during off season so wasn't too crowded, price was quite reasonable. Ordered a creamy mushroom starter which was nice. Had a medium steak with blue cheese sauce on the side which was disappointing, chips were soggy and flavorless and the sauce hardly tasted of blue cheese. However, boyfriend's lamb burger was flavorful. Hopefully, they will do better next time if we return and I can change this review.

Just finished another great Thursday night steak night and now we are chilling with a glass of wine. A really nice meal, our compliments to the chef and the staff. I feel that I should now update this review, as we have now entered the "open season" of the holiday park and therefore all previous offers and the menu have changed. Suffice to say I would now recommend that you give this place a very wide berth because all you are likely to get between now and December is overpriced slop, that is if you're lucky enough to turn up on a day when there are actually some items available for you to eat.

Staying in Amble for a few days in a cottage and found this place whilst out walking along the dunes with our dog. Really surprised at the standard given that it's attached to the adjacent holiday lodge park. Didn't get as far as the food, but given that it allowed dogs in and had some excellent beers on tap served by friendly staff who allowed a tab to be set up against a card (they put in a card-safe), was good enough for us. Only a few minutes walk from our rented cottage as well. Will revisit.

Amazing carvery! Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Bit of a mix up on one of the meals but quickly sorted. This is a stunning building and has a great atmosphere. Log fire to warm yourself up with.

Food was over one hour when we were told it would be twenty five minutes. Kitchen issues weren't communicated to all diners. Manager offered an acceptable resolution and food was nice. However the following day an insecure parasol landed on mine and my daughter's head. I'm still awaiting a response, ive not even had an apology.... Was contacted by the storehouse management and offered a free meal. It couldnt have been better!! What an amazing meal and night out! Thank you!!!
