Story

Former warehouse turned restaurant, our energetic and vibrant Leeds site has everything you need for a perfect night out.

Our Spanish Josper oven cooks our food to succulent and juicy perfection. For those wanting drinks, our extensive drinks list is large enough to send the most experienced wine lover into overdrive, but if you’re not sure where to start then our welcoming staff and resident sherry lovers are on hand. They haven’t steered anyone wrong yet!

Discover a sun soaked afternoon in Summer or take up stargazing in Winter on our Riverside balcony. The choices are endless.

*Dogs are welcome in our bar area during quiet periods, at our manager's discretion.

Celebrating a birthday, we ordered almost 80% of the menu, and every dish was excellent. They even surprised me with a small birthday cake . Highly recommendable; we were all thoroughly satisfied with the variety of dishes we tried. We ordered two servings of Spanish paella as our main course, and all 11 of us had a great time. Highly recommended!
Excellent! We had a table booked at Ambiente for 1pm today to celebrate a birthday; none of us had eaten there before but the menu was amazing with so much choice. Every member of staff was friendly and attentive, particularly supportive and aware re allergies. The paper menu has lots of information for each dish but there is also an allergy card with QR code to check more details regarding allergens. The suggestion is 3-4 tapas dishes per person, but the portions are pretty big so we could have had 2 each and still been full. The desserts are also generous portions. The food was brought out when each dish was ready, so lots of opportunity for sampling different flavour combinations. Genuinely cannot fault any aspect of the meal as it was perfectly cooked, looked good and tasted divine. Our meal for 3, including 2 alcoholic drinks, 9 tapas dishes, 2 desserts, 2 coffees and a tea was just over £100 including service charge which I thought very reasonable. I would be happy to eat there as a solo diner, maybe for a light lunch. Will definitely be back!
We have been coming here since it first opened and have visited for our anniversary many, many times but our visit last night was the best yet. The knowledge of the sherry was impressive but so much more impressive was the food. To say how super busy it was, the food was cooked absolutely perfectly! Favourites included stunningly cooked calamari and ham and cheese croquettes. My partners favourite was the sea bream fillet. But our stars were the aubergine parmigiana which just tasted gorgeous and the mussels bread is a must to mop up the best sauce! It was just a brilliant experience from start to finish!
Absolutely loved this place! Me and my boyfriend booked here last minute on a whim and it turned out to be the best tapas we’ve ever had. We ordered a mixture of meat, veggie and plant based dishes and they were all fab. Our favourites were the patatas bravas, honey feta and the chicken chorizo skewers. We recommend the millionaire brownie too, so so good! Amazing place for meat eaters and veggies! All the staff were super friendly and accommodating too. Highly recommend.
Good location, walkable from the city centre. All dishes are delicious and worth 5 stars. We had a day trip in the city and randomly selected this place. To our surprise, the food was well above our expectations, only to mention that the entrance to the restaurant and to the toilets are stairs and there is no lift for prams.
Absolutely amazing! The food was fantastic and the meal was topped off with the awesome service. Thank you to Javier for keeping us laughing for the whole time. Amazing food and even more amazing staff!! We were a large party, and they took care of us so well! They even agreed to take our food order a couple of days in advance! They were attentive, always smiling, and were happy to accommodate any needs we had. The food itself was delicious, flavourful, fresh but the lovely staff made it even better. We were there for a birthday, they helped us bring out the cake, and made it all super lovely! We left them a big portion of cake between them as they were so nice! Great food and amazing service! 10/10 would definitely go again.
Arrived a little early to a booking, a waiter named Michael was very welcoming and got us to a table for drinks whilst we waited for our food table. He gave us recommendations and passionately explained the specials to us. All the food was delicious, will be coming again.Food: 5/5
Visited for my husband's birthday. Staff were very warm and welcoming throughout. We were told to order as we went along but we couldn't help just ordering all our plates at once. Every single plate was delicious and my husband even chose to have a second portion of mussels whilst I enjoyed a dessert. Definitely a must visit when in Leeds. Extremely good value for money. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options and the option for alternative vegan "meat" through an app menu.
Following a recommendation, came for a late lunch and hadn’t booked. The matre de politely explained we may have to wait for our order to be taken and showed us to our table. We did not have to wait that long before our order was taken. It was worth the short wait. Super tapas - we ordered 3 each and was persuaded by the very knowledgeable waiter to try the trio of Sherrys - not disappointed. The place had a relaxed, friendly vibe and quality and price much better imo than perhaps one of the more well known tapas restaurants in Leeds. Will definitely return. Vegetarian options: Vegan as well as veggie options our waiter checked for any allergies etc.
