I just love this place, every visit the food is superb, really fresh ingredients and very good value for money. Michelle and Il capitain are always very welcoming and can’t do enough for you. A great place for a romantic meal for 2 or a get together with friends and family!!!
Considering the restaurant wasn't overly busy, the service was quite slow, however we were a group of 10 so it may have been a case of waiting for all our food to be ready before serving. Good value for money - £6 for a large margarita pizza and there were other lunchtime meal deals.
My husband and I were appalled by the behaviour on Saturday night of Maria a dark haired woman who seemed to be in charge in the restaurant. During the meal the service had been impersonal and rushed and we had to ask for cutlery and for our sides. Also my chicken dish had been served cold so it had to be returned - which I handled in an extremely polite way I should add. At the end of the meal when a waiter asked if we had enjoyed it, I calmly explained the problems we had had and said we were disappointed and that wouldn't be coming back. A few minutes later Maria appeared at our table clearly very angry and seemingly wanting an argument. Without any sort of an introduction she laid into me and told me I should be grateful that they had cooked me a fresh piece of chicken instead of heating up the first piece. Her voice was raised all the time and she appeared to be furious. She refused to listen to anything I had to say about anything and then she stormed off not to be seen again. By then I was furious too and wasn't going to pay the bill but my husband said we had better otherwise we would end up being the ones in the wrong. The rest of the staff were left not knowing what to do. I would like to know who that woman is and why she behaved in that way.
It was me and my partners first visit at Il Grande last week. The staff was welcoming, friendly and attentive. Lovely ambience and service. One restaurant I would recommend visiting. Fresh and delicious food.
Marvellous pizza! I never eat the crust of a pizza, but the dough here is so lovely that I can't help myself. Genuinely the nicest pizza I've ever eaten. The non-pizza dishes are very good too. Great staff, lovely food, a nice ambience - this is now my favourite place to eat in Epsom. Long may it last!
It's a nice dining experience in Epsom. Friendly staff and good service make any visit well worth while. Good collection of wine. It's enjoyable seafood in a relaxed setting.
Very Good Italian Food. Centrally located restaurant in Epsom , Friendly Staff. Bit pricey for the food but the food makes it worth the money. Had a good family dinner out there.

Excellent, authentic Italian cuisine. You certainly won't leave feeling hungry. Lovely service with a smile. It's good to be able to have a laugh with the staff.
Friendly service, good atmosphere, so much better than high street outlets, great pizza.
