Absolutely disappointed. The food here is way to overpriced and just tastes like something you’d cook at home. The vegetables are not fresh as well. I only went here because I had a tesco voucher so I could eat for free. The only good thing is the staff. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Just don’t go here, I don’t recommend at all. Only go here if you get to eat for free or get a good deal.
Very good food, but sometime hard to get a seat on certain days, the service is very freindly and would recommend to everyone, their seasonal set menu is definetly worth a look if you fancy something slightly cheaper. I strongly recommend the pork escalope as when I ordered it, it tasted absolutely divine.
Nice sandwich with fries and friendly service. But decor is looking a bit scruffy. We were seated in the back next to the kitchens and the back door was propped open twice for several minutes while boxes of deliveries were rolled past us. It was a very cold winter's day and when we said we were cold, staff told us it couldn't be avoided. No apology.
Attentive service, very comprehensive gluten free menu. Free starter given when order delayed and used Gourmet card to get 10% off. All food nice, mains a little small maybe but a good overall experience. Recommended for gluten free.

Excellent, great value lunch.
We have been eating here for 15 years. Food is practically the same as ever was. Really good, I find all of the staff except for the manageress to be very pleasant, lovely surroundings well priced. And they are apart of the Tesco club card points voucher scheme. So you can eat for free.
I thought this wasn't part of a chain, but it is. Never mind. I've had dinner twice at Cafe Rouge, and both times I've left as a happy customer. Sure, the drinks are a bit overpriced as they are everywhere, but the food is well prepared, tasty and generally good value. Recommended.
This is a good restaurant for especially for the area! The staff are friendly and the food is reasonably priced. Although I have found the toilets can be quite dirty sometimes. But I would definitely use this restaurant again and recommend to others.
Good for breakfast if you have children. However staff seemed more interested to talk with each other about haircuts, shoes and handbags than to check if service was required at the tables. We will give them one more try... Hopefully they will be a bit more attentive.
