I have frequented Alvaston Post Office on numerous occasions, primarily to dispatch parcels, and I am consistently met with unparalleled care, comprehension, and professionalism. Typically, I arrive in the morning just before opening hours, and the gentleman often graciously opens early to accommodate waiting customers, an act of service that is truly exceptional. While there is occasionally a modest queue, I have never spent more than ten minutes here. The efficiency and dedication demonstrated by the staff make every visit a delightful experience. I highly recommend Alvaston Post Office for all postal needs.
Horrendous, offer services online that when you queue for hours to post in store they apparently do not have. This means the only way to cover yourself up to £750 is to pay £8.90 when you only want coverage for £50. Useless dead company.
Multiple times I have been in this post office for the woman behind the counter to be nothing but rude and patronising!!! Worst customer service!! Would give 0 stars if I could.
Renewed driving licence at 7am in the morning. Dave The PostMaster was amazing. And it arrived in 3 days back. Worth the 4.50 checking fee. Couldn't do on line as I don't have passport!

Rude, arrogant and patronising: The woman "serving" here isn't fractionally as smart or funny as she thinks she is. You're a jumped up cashier, not a Nobel Laureate - Get over yourself. There are other Post Offices within spitting distance of this one, use one of them if possible.
I do a lot of eBay postage, and this post office is one of the best post offices I have ever used. Very friendly staff, and don't be put off by a long queue, it goes down really fast. Very efficient service.
went in woman behind the counter is the worst, jumped up, looks down on you and speaks to customers horribly litterally dont even know how shes kept her job, absolutely disgusting behavior, absolutely atrocious
I don’t visit the post office much, but when I did, the women on the counter was genuinely being difficult and off. That being said, the location is convenient with parking. It can get really busy, so be prepared.
30minute parking, took 5minutes to queue and literally 5minutes to renew my driving licence.
