Was here with family on a Saturday afternoon and there was no problems! Lovely bar team, they gave me a plaster and had no problems with popping a raspberry into my glass of prosecco! Got asked for ID at the bar which is fair enough. We went for food and came back around an hour and a half later I came back with my boyfriend and the door woman was incredibly rude. I said that I was sorry that it was taking a while to get my ID out but it kept getting stuck in my card holder. She told me my ID looked nothing like me so asked for any other form of ID - (I'm 22). I said it was because it was when I had bright blonde hair when it's now brown. The lady then went on to tell me that I needed to 'drop the attitude' so decided to go elsewhere. This ruined my trip to Chester to be honest. I've given up wanting the city's nightlife scene to continue. You find rude door staff everywhere, but Chester seems to have an awful lot of them and it's a shame.

This was my first visit here with the family, very impressed but very limited seating especially when some had been reserved.

Went for my sister's birthday meal, beautiful place, nice and calm atmosphere with very friendly staff. To top it off good food and drinks.

They seemed a bit short staffed when we arrived, with one guy running around taking orders, serving behind the bar and then serving the food! Although we had a bit of a wait, the food was good, particularly the children's cod and mini burgers. We would certainly return.
