I was suggested this shop by word of mouth and couldn’t be more happy of this choice. The bike mechanic was friendly and very expert. He recognised all the issues my bike had being honest on the amount of work to do and the cost of the components to be replaced tyre, chain and gear. The communication was great contacting me one the bike was ready. I could not suggest a better place to take care of your bike.
Really good place for kids and also adults, I did not even know of its existence although Alexandra park is local to us and we go there often with the kids. The hub is well hidden! Nice people working there, very helpful and they told us golf and tennis rackets are free to use every day so we will definitely be back!
Went in this morning because I was having difficulty changing the inner tube on my rear while. The guy working there was very helpful: got the tube changed very quickly and gave me lots of useful tips about bike maintenance. The hub also offers classes on bike mechanics, and bike services which are cheaper than most bike shops. A very useful thing to have locally: feel like not enough people in the area know about it.
Took my partners bike here to get serviced after a hard year of commuting. The rusty, squeaky mess was returned to me with new cables, serviced brakes and gears, components I had supplied fitted and everything adjusted perfectly, ready for another year of being thoroughly neglected. Awesome job, very friendly service and highly recommended.
The bike hub is a brilliant and reliable service, always friendly and low cost or free, and quick at repairs with good opening hours so you're never without your bike for too long. They are great at communicating what's going on with your bike even if you don't know much about the mechanics yourself. I recommend this place to everyone in the area!

I took my bike today to Alexander bike hub to have a safety check. As as a former Team leader in both customer services retail and health and social care, I can confidentially say I was extremely impressed with thet level of knowledge and customer care I received from your Mechanic 'Krystian'. Polite professional informative and went 'above and beyond'. I am doing a bike to work scheme and needed my bike checked to get to my new job safely. Krystian went 'above and beyond' adjusting and thoroughly testing and realigning my bike, making my bike 'road legal' and keeping me safe repositioning the seat, breaks, handle bar and lights and replacing reflector components, and advising me on bike security, safety and maintenance. I was extremely impressed by this valuable 'Free' service. It is an excellent community resources and saw many happy customers of all ages and families using and benefiting from it. My bike was so hard to ride before the safety check, but so enjoyable after I even went for a bike ride around the park - felt brand new! Thank you Kristian You are a credit and asset to your team! Well done!
It is a great solidarity project where they lend you bicycles, make periodic revisions and repairs when necessary. And all for free. You can attend workshops so that you can learn for yourself how to repair your bike. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help you. They will find the bike that best suits you.
Compared with other parks I've been this hub is a clear plus. You can play tennis, football, golf, etc. They provide equipment also. Clean toilets. Everything is free.
