Recently purchased my 2nd bike from John and the team at Cyclelane. The service, before and after sales, has been exceptional both times. The guys are always happy to offer guidance on maintenance and amendments to the bike, which is really useful for a novice like myself. Servicing work has been carried out quickly and flexibly around my cycling schedule Will no doubt be back again.
Bought my first bike for well over 20 years here in autumn 2021. Bicycle technology has moved on since then and the guys at Cyclelane took the time to bring me up to date and help me select the right bike for my needs and my budget. The after sales service has been outstanding, with no question too stupid to answer, and no job too trivial to help and advise on. Thoroughly recommended.
I hired a gravel bike from Cyclelane for a week while I was visiting Glasgow in November 2021. It was a fantastic experience and made my trip so much more fun. Even though it was a busy period, the shop managed to set me up with a great bike that fit me well, and at a very reasonable rate slightly less expensive than what I had seen for other shops in Scotland. They also included a lock, pump, spare tube, and helmet free of charge with the rental. The bike was perfectly maintained, and about 150 miles of riding went by without a single problem. The staff were easy to communicate with even from across the Atlantic and very happy to help - they clearly love to help cyclists get out and ride. They also gave me some good recommendations for bike rides in the broader area, including going to the Whitelee Wind Farm, which was an incredible experience. Though I didn't have the need to buy anything from the shop, it looked like they were well stocked with about anything you could need. I highly recommend Cyclelane for cycle purchase, hire, or repair, and I will definitely come back if I ever happen to be in Glasgow again.
Recommend this shop. Great service and had a decent amount of full suspension bikes available when other larger shops had none. Kept in touch whole time and do cycle to work scheme as well which is a bonus.. love the bike and they are always willing to answer any questions if needed.
Recently bought my new Orbea Laufey H10 online from Cyclelane having found them via the Orbea website. Great communication with updates on the order process and received the bike very quickly. Bike was well prepared, and protected. Loving my new bike! Thanks
Great service and advice from Charlie at Cyclelane at the weekend. The bike needed serviced, new pedals, cleats and shoes. Gave me the full range of options and didn’t try and just sell me the most expensive. Advised the most appropriate for my cycling level. Got the bike back after a few days and all is good. Didn’t get the guys name today who helped with the cleats on the shoes - but again superb service. Great all round. Cheers
Very fast responses from John and the team at Cyclelane. The service has been good all the time whether before and after sales. Love my MERIDA Silex 200 and enjoy touring around the Scotland!
I’ve been using Cycle Lane for a couple of years now for parts, service and repair on both my mountain bike and gravel bike and it’s been a pleasure every time. The work has always been great quality at a good price my last bearing replacement actually came in under the quoted price. The lads have helped me out of a couple of tight spots with quick repairs and in the spot adjustments. The staff are knowledgeable and have a good sense of humour. Easy 5 stars.
Love this , my first e-bike , gearing is so good tho, I have barely used the motor . Thanks to John and all at Cyclelane for the excellent service , ordered Tuesday - delivered Friday . Five stars all round .
Absolutely fantastic service! Everything is excellent from communication to mechanics knowledge and skills. I've done full bike service there about 4 months ago and my bike still rides like a dream! Gear change have never been smoother! They also changed my flat tyre and pedals in no time!
