Spent 70minutes waiting on telephone for someone to answer this morning, 40 minutes this afternoon and currently 30minutes still waiting for someone to pick the phone up. Needing to arrange emergency medication  and unable to get to the chemist as housebound. Pretty awful as they care clearly just ignoring all the  phone calls.

Absolutely disgraceful service . Will not tell you if your prescription is ready even whilst speaking with them on the phone as a human  . Attitude is vile , these type of people are the reason computers will replace humans pretty soon as they can’t be bothered . Disgusting chemist , never again !! Prescription never ready , staff too busy chatting away about their personal lives with each other whilst you’re standing in a huge cue. Anyone who reviews it any different is clearly staff writing reviews or friends / family of the staff . It’s the worst chemist possible

Closed at 1pm for an hours dinner, but doesnt state on google opening hours

Website needs updating... As place shuts for Dinner..between 13 00  and  14 00...pain when you have walk to place....

Unfortunately we have now all moved pharmacies as I am sick of waiting for my repeat prescription even after waiting a week before picking it up, getting a text saying it’s ready, and turning up and it’s never been ready for the past 2 years. Nice staff but clearly can’t handle the numbers if after a week prescriptions are still in a pile.

Alexander’s is one of the nicest chemists I’ve been to.I went there this afternoon to pick up a prescription and ask about a flu injection. Vicky was happy to fit me and my husband in for our jabs. She also  helped me fill in the forms on my phone when I was having trouble. She was really helpful, so thank you Vicky! Also I’d like to say thank you to Sarah. What a beautiful human being! She is always happy to help in any situation and the community are lucky to have her. Great shop, great staff!

Thank you for you very professional help today. I had a 111 Referral for emergency meds as I am away from home and run out of tablets. Although you didn't have 1 of the meds available you advised how to sort things out and I have now had my meds delivered to me from another lovely chemist. From the lady who took my first call and the pharmacist I spoke to I was so impressed with your kindness and service. Thanks again. Barbara Arrowsmith.

Having endured delays in Boots and their inability to get my medication, my prescription was sent here. Bear in mind I had to wait 20 mins in Boots just to pick up a prescription and be told they couldn’t obtain a specific item. Fast forward to Alexanders tonight. My prescription with the unavailable items in Boots was available ant they even said they would keep some in stock for me. Busy chemist but well impressed with the friendliness of the staff. All future prescriptions will be coming here rather than Boots. Well done Alexander’s. Well impressed

Been there only few times and each time it's just soooooo frustrating. Lady's behind the tills are too busy with private conversations that customers are nuisances. Lady who served me only did the prescription bit and did not want to serve over the counter medicine, telling me she will do it later, which she didn't. She was telling me she knows what's on the prescription and  when she finally checked she was wrong, then she argued with me that the medicine is the same, well it's not, and unless she takes both of them for years she would not know the difference, but my child knows as was taking it for years and each time it's different brand it feels different for my child. I found it extremely rude and arrogant, even the doctor knows there is a difference between brands, but she thinks she knows everything better and felt she had to put me down with her little knowledge. It's a horrible customer service. I won't use this pharmacy again and would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

You are treated so well in here... nothing is too much trouble.All the staff have worked there for years which speaks volumes and often very busy and stressed but never the less always have a smile on there faces. I used Boots for many years which you are just a number and money in there till unlike Alexander’s your health and custom is always paramount!! The Shop side of things is always very well stocked with lovely items and a nice bargain end isle.Going here for my prescriptions is always a pleasure and never a chore xXx
