Pleasant experience Steve, booked car in he phone when they were finished, I was informed of what little problems the car had, I was shown all the old filters and what they looked like. My car will definitely go back, great service, car is running really well.
Great sales team can’t really fault them. But aftercare really poor. Car making a terrible creaking noise. Been in three times for it just to have random parts changed. Went in the last time and got told parts needed ordered and would be in touch. Two months later still heard nothing so we’ve gave up and will get it repaired elsewhere. 4th car we’ve bought from Scott’s and probably the last now.

Absolute first class service from Alex Scott Cars. My own car was on the way out, took it along to the dealer and broke down a mile away! Peter was fantastic, he came and picked me up in the car I wanted to test drive that day and bought, was kind, friendly and very professional. They even sorted out getting rid of my old beloved car. As someone who suffers severe anxiety all of the staff here were fantastic at sorting me out from start to finish, I didn't feel pressured into making a decision and the whole process was made easy and stress free. Thank you so much Peter and everyone else at Alex Scott for getting me back on the road!
We have just purchased a 2020 plate Toyota CHR from Alex Scott cars. Due to problems caused by our bank and in no way attributed to the garage the process was far more difficult than it should have been. Throughout the process Jonathon and Peter were excellent to deal with even refunding our deposit when it did not look like the sale was going to happen. I cannot speak highly enough about the service we received from this garage and we are loving our new car, which arrived just as described and at a very fair price. I strongly recommend Alex Scott Cars. This is a very professional, friendly and reliable business where to buy a second hand car. I have bought a BMW X1 which was in immaculate conditions and at a reasonable price, and I was impressed by the professionalism and the nice and friendly environment. I really love my new car, however after a few months a warning showed up and I had to replace a component of the car. Something that happens in this specific model of BMW X1. I was nicely surprised to see how helpful the staff of this small business were in getting everything sorted for me with the warranty. In my personal experience the customer service of Alex Scott Cars when I bought the car and after has been really great.
Just bought another car so thought I'd update my review. As before, I'm delighted. No disrespect to other places but this garage is the Tina Turner of used car dealers....simply the best! Anyone thinking of buying a used, or even new, car from one of the main dealers - don't. All that paperwork and processes makes the experience less than enjoyable for me. And it doesn't seem to make sense to buy a new car when you can obtain a recent, low mileage, one owner vehicle from here at an extremely competitive price. Just a £200 holding deposit secures your choice and delivery is available all over the UK. Alex Scott Cars make buying and owning a truly pleasurable experience. And I should know - this is my 3rd car now. No wonder they're a multi award winning dealer! As I'm not from the area, I hadn't heard of this dealership before. As I was passing, I noticed something of interest on the forecourt so decided to call in. Although I haven't bought anything - yet - I'm writing this review to say how impressed I was with Peter's approach. It's rare these days to come across a salesman who is so obviously & genuinely concerned with the customer. The range of stock is great too so I'm not surprised that so many other customers have rated the garage 5 star too. I'm looking forward to returning soon & completing a deal!!
