All fruit goes mouldy well before used by date and you only get 1 day or two to use it all up! Also the potatoes have black bits inside the maris piper ones and the sweet potatoes get mould on!The mince is also bad!
A nice modern store with great opening hours and superb choice of food, drinks and more. Oh, and they have toilets for their customers which I really appreciate. BUT I absolutely hate the self service check outs. On the first evening there they were the only ones available until I complained to the manager that I don't shop to do the work of their check out staff. And take their jobs. He was polite but totally disagreed with me. He said that the majority of his customers prefer to do their own check out. So I assume that I'm just an old dinosaur who likes to shop and receive at least some minimal service. Oh well...
Lots of empty spaces on the shelves but managed to get what I needed.
Self checkouts quiet and they Wouldn't open more tills for the folk stood about waiting to use ONE normal checkout with full trolleys! Will use lidl in the future.. they don't have self checkouts!! Almost everyone I talk to HATES them.. if they gave US ALL 20% discount to do THEIR job WE might use one!!
