Work outing tonight at Albert’s was lovely, food was lovely, I ordered the mushrooms to start and the lobster ravioli for my main. It was nice, I wanted to try something different, I’d probably go for the steak or cheese pie if I went again. What made the evening more enjoyable was our waiter Connor. He was very attentive, good sense of humour and really made our night. I recognised Connor from a previous restaurant he worked at well over 2 years ago and that was purely based on his character.
I like the ambience in the restaurant, staff are friendly and seating is comfortable.nnI ordered the duck, the flavour was good but the duck could have been more pink, it was slightly overcooked for my liking.nnThe desserts were okay, nothing special.
The new menu its absolutely spot on, I had asparagus to start, and this amazing chicken and coconut soup based main, with rice and it was something else! As always, great atmosphere and great staff, server Ali is happy and cheerful as per, and Simon the Manager is very warm and welcoming, top marks guys! Keep up the good work! :
Absolutely exquisite cocktails - our espresso martinis were made to *perfection*.nI’m also a big fan of the general vibe; it’s fancy without being pretentious, very warm and welcoming.nThe menu choices were excellent, and our food was tasty and presented beautifully - all round good stuff.nBut I feel compelled to tell everyone about how AMAZING the service was. From start to finish, all the staff were great. The host, the bartender, the manager - everyone - and especially our server Poppy. She was polite and professional, but also really bubbly and friendly. She provided exceptional service and it really enhanced the experience.
Charming restaurant tucked away in didsbury! Beautiful interior, and lovely service. I took a group of friends here for the 2 course lunch deal, and really enjoyed ourselves. Good value for money and nice drinks on the side. However, none of food truly blew me away. Though the pizza, fish cake and miso aubergine were all good, I wouldn’t come back for any of the dishes specifically. The dessert was a little dry doughballs with choc sauce and pistachio but could’ve done with icecream. It was a lovely day out, I will be back, maybe I just ordered wrong :
